This year our school districts are on varied schedules from in person, to remote to hybrid. So my caseload looks the same. Some of my parents have decided to home school this year so I am doing both. For in-person, I am now conducting speech sessions in the garage! We have avoided cleaning out the garage, but this was a great incentive! I was concerned about providing speech in my office which did not have adequate ventilation. So wa-la - see picture below!
I purchased the most wonderful Green Screen from Valera. I am IN LOVE! It has increased the quality of my pics on Zoom. I can touch the screen and my hand doesn’t disappear. I am working on SK with one of my students (he had corrected all other S blends within 6 weeks-so awesome), so I put several animals in my Virtual Backgrounds. The pics looked genuine, as if the animals were behind me. He had to tell me if he thought they were Scary or Not Scary - of course he said he wasn’t scared of anything! So cute - only 4 years old.

Garage is turned into a temporary speech therapy room. Garage door is partially open to about 4 feet high. Just found this great clear mask on Amazon. Getting used to the routine - put on clear mask, ask parent questions, take temp, spray space with Thieves Essential Oil, spray table with disinfectant, have student, parent and myself use sanitizer and then we sit down.
