Hi All - I have a new TECHIE TIP for you! Are you familiar with GOOGLE KEEP?

GOOGLE KEEP is a Google app that I have on my phone and computer desktop. This year during my in person speech sessions. I no longer write notes on a piece of paper. Each of my students has a color-coded “sticky note.” I jot down material & data right in Google Keep on my phone. Whatever I type on my phone syncs to my computer. It’s an easy copy and paste into Kinney Systems (program I need to use to enter notes.) Of course I have to also save in a daily note file I keep in Google Drive which includes student information and goals.

STORAGE CARD SAVER TIP - I don’t know about you , but I have 100’s of card sets!! A couple of years ago I finally figured out how to manage some of the sets I use frequently. I used to put sets in small photo boxes but that started to take up so much room. I can now fit 12 card sets in one vinyl file folder. Here’s how I do it using Cariboo Cards as an example. Best secret ever is Lessonpix.com for making Cariboo Cards - I create 15 cards for artic or language and then go to the Adapted Games section , press the button and walla . I download and print on Cardstock. Then I cut out the pictures and put them in the small sealable bags. Then I cut a piece of hook and loop and strategically place on the bag and the folder so that I can fit 6 on one side. (rough on back of bag and soft on the folder.) These vinyl file folders are the best because they don’t rip and there is a slot in the front for the Theme. I currently use only 2 folders with 24 cards for Cariboo-Seasonal and Mixed. It’s so easy to store these folders. I label all my bags with my Brother Label Maker. I also have a bigger bag from the same company for bigger card sets and other miscellaneous items.
