If you don’t own a set of attribute blocks-please check them out - there are shapes, colors, size and thickness which can be used to teach all types of basic concepts and for following directions to make designs. They are different than pattern blocks.

I am NOT an affiliate of Amazon, although I am addicted to their sales, especially games!  I just bought Orangutwang for $10 which is soooocute and easy to play!! I played with a student working on STOPPING- so we worked on plural S. Initially I used the Speech Photo Cue Cards to help him learn S blends- He has corrected almost all S blends using the cards!! Items are hung on the orangutan and when it gets too heavy everything pops up.  Same concept as Greedy Granny when you press the button so many times.  I am currently working on a BOOM card featuring Greedy Granny (Old Lady’s sister!!)

I love creating and sharing with you!!  Please let me know what you think and what you would like to see me create!

Regards, Ricki ricki@preschoolspeechieplus.com

I am finally updating my CV-CVCV and VC-CVC Apraxia Kits with new pictures and therapy techniques.  The current version will still be available.  My new set includes additional supports.  The first product  in the new set is Speech Sound Photo Cues.  I have been using these cues for a long time and decided to put it all together in this set. My students have made continued progress using these cards along with my PROMPT Method training.

Phonemic Manipulation Step-by-Step Instructions on TPT

Last but not least for the past 4 years I worked with HS students who were struggling readers. I put a phonemic awareness goal in their IEP and created a program for them about 2 years ago. Students made steady progress working on phoneme manipulation. I have been working on this product for quite a while! It’s called Phonemic Awareness for Struggling Readers - Phoneme Manipulation. There are 3 charts which include CVC, CVCC, Silent e, Diphthongs and Vocalic R checklists. I also included 89 word lists!! So I wasn’t going to include word lists, but then I thought I would include a few and then I just kept going!
