I also created a video (see below) to share the difference between a DIPHTHONG (combo of 2 vowels which make another vowel with 2 motor sequences) and DIGRAPH (combo of 2 consonants which make another consonant.) My PROMPT Method 3 day workshop reviewed every vowel and consonant sound pattern which was invaluable. I assess all vowels and often my students with a speech sound disorder experience challenges with diphthongs.
