Sentence Building with Actions is an update to my Actions Freebie which I have had forever on TPT. It was one of the first products I downloaded in 2013! This set has expanded to include a bundle of 3 sets. I have also shared the WH questions and Language Hierarchy which has also evolved over the years. An actual informal screener is now available for both! Thanks to everyone who reviewed and shared your ideas. I couldn’t have done this without you. Please let me know what you think! I created screeners for 2 of my most popular checklists - WH Question Hierarchy and Language Hierarchy. I use these for every preschooler I work with because it provides me with a basic understanding of their skills and it helps me write my reports - I send the Language Hierarchy chart to the school districts along with the report. I hope you find it helpful too!

This is an original St. Patrick story I created which targets spatial concepts & colors. It includes next to, under, in front, behind, between and on. There are 2 additional sections including FIND THE POT OF GOLD - targeting the concept NOT and MAKE A RAINBOW.

It also has several words for working on lip rounding, e.g. the vowel O - gnome, home, gold, go, hold, yellow, rainbow, There are several U - you, balloon, two, horseshoe, blue, roof, shoes, Lip rounding is seen in oral motor movements, e.g. kissing, straw drinking and in sounds e.g., O, U, sh, ch, j. W is a combination of 2 vowels e.g. u + ah, or U + eeh. When children are retracting these sounds you will often see uh for O & U and S for sh, ch, j. I have a little one right now who retracts his palatal sounds. I have shown mom what he does and have suggested that she model her words, saying, e.g. “Shoe has your SH sound!.” When I work with this child I provide instructional feedback too, e.g., “Round your lips and let me hear the water sound. That’s the SH sound.” Kinesthetically the child will feel sides of tongue between 2 upper teeth. For tactile input I lightly squeeze his cheeks (PROMPT.) I want him to write & say too. We utilize every modality. He is now self-correcting! Believe it or not J sound was achieved first. We work on the CH too (sneezing sound or train sound.)

Above are 9 ideas for Spring or Summer! Click on the images to view Previews. There is also a Spring - Summer Section for browsing in the SEASONAL SECTION

Stay healthy everyone! Please reach out if you have any questions or suggestions. Thanks so much!
