Scarecrow yoga is awesome to use in the fall!
1.Print all pages. Fold in the middle to make a book or cut the pages and display one card at a time. Put them in any order.
2. I have found 4-step breathing so helpful for anxious students. Breathe in and count to 4. Hold for 4. Then breathe out for 4. Breathing sends oxygen to the brain and calms the body. Best to do in the yoga sitting position.
3. Each yoga position is related to an animal. object or activity.
4. Pair target words or phrases with each movement.
